It Doesn’t Get Much More Iconic

So the latest series (series 12) of the revived Doctor Who has just finished and what a series it was. Jodie Whittaker absolutely slayed this series and it was great to see a significant increase in overall quality this series. The sets, effects, stories and more were just that much more Doctor Who this time round. Not that I didn’t like the previous series, it was a great start to the new era under Chibnall’s rule. But I’m getting sidetracked, I’m sure I’ll be talking about this more in the future.

What I want to talk about is the finale of series 12. Well that’s not true cos I have a lot to say on the whole package at a later date also. What I actually want to talk about is a two minute clip from the finale, specifically this one.

This moment felt like such a love letter to the series. The Doctor using her memories to overload the Matrix (the Time-Lord supercomputer), all the beautiful Easter eggs in the memories and THAT theme rendition my god. I had such a massive smile on my face during this, despite some of my feeling surrounding it. But I don’t want to get bogged down in that today.

Here’s hoping that Doctor Who keeps up this pace and hits us with more and more Awesome Moments!
